Design & Delivery

After collaborating closely with our client, it became evident that they required a versatile solution that empowered curators to manage the exhibition seamlessly. Given that this is an ongoing showcase, we aimed to provide a system that granted them autonomy in updating and altering content, eliminating the need for constant external assistance.

To fulfill this objective, we designed a robust backend system, enabling curators to fully customize ‘tables,’ create interactive objects for user engagement, and fine-tune the types of items on display.

Within this exhibition, we embrace a variety of asset types, including:

  • Image Displays
  • Text-Only Content
  • Audio Playback
  • Video Playback

Creating an item is straightforward—simply define its type, upload the relevant asset, and position it on the table within the Content Management System (CMS). The touchscreen app then seamlessly downloads the latest content, ensuring that it remains consistently up-to-date.

Given that the touchscreen is positioned at the heart of the exhibition room, accessible from 360 degrees, we faced the challenge of designing a user-friendly interface suitable for all directions and accommodating multiple users. To address this, we implemented a feature allowing the display panel to rotate, catering to all four sides of the touchscreen. Moreover, the panel boxes automatically vanish after a set time, ensuring a clean interface for subsequent visitors.

Our innovative approach ensures a truly immersive and interactive experience with the ‘Touch on History with Touchscreen Tech’ exhibition.
